One of our goals when we opened the shop was to continually provide exquisite yarns for our customers. Admittedly, this isn’t an easy task. But every once in a while even a blind squirrel finds a nut right? When Mom and I met Sandra of duck duck wool and saw her yarns and colors we knew we had hit the jackpot! Sandra is from Northern Virginia and her yarns are not only exploding on etsy, but are also being used by designers such as Thea Colman of babycocktails.
The colors are all named from memory in Sandra’s head. How cool is that? Although I don’t know what Night Bokeh represents, it is a favorite and we only have one skein left!
duck duck arrived on Monday in 50/50 Merino Silk DK and MCN Aran and is already a hit! Just ask mom to show you what she is doing up in the 50/50…
Just thrilled to add duck duck to the shop collection! Thank you Sandra.
Heather and Cathy–it’s my absolute pleasure (and privilege!) to be at The Knot House!! Your shop is simply amazing. Every time I stop in I don’t want to leave. Thank you for creating such a haven for fiber lovers. And for inviting DDW to be part of something so special. xoxo, Sandra
p.s. Night Bokeh is a nod to my love of photography and the night shot I try to take of every city we visit :).
