I’m in a great mood today. Maybe it’s because the power is back on, or that it is Friday, or that things in the shop are coming together (check our new white board in the classroom next time you are in). Maybe it is because the sun is out and it looks like we won’t get hit with another ugly storm this weekend. This means Karida Collins and Ann Weaver will make it to the shop tomorrow and our Neighborhood Fiber Launch will be on schedule. Yeah, I think that’s it. This also means I get to turn the shop on it’s head and move everything around to make room for the addition of Karida’s lovely yarns. We all know I love to do this!
So what is a launch? It’s a celebration of the fact that The Knot House has been selected to be a flagship store for Neighborhood Fiber Co. yarns! This is quite a privilege since I believe there are only a dozen or so stores selected across the U.S. Not bad for a little LYS in Frederick Maryland. 🙂 So both Karida and Ann will be at the shop to chat and answer questions about the yarns and their patterns. Ann will be teaching her Station North Mitt class (I believe there is another opening if you are interested) and will be around to talk about her patterns and upcoming projects. She is so talented…
The Knot House will be carrying NFC Studio Worsted, Rustic Fingering, Loft, and Chromium going forward. We hope to add to these through out the year. We might also even get our own colorway named Patrick Street or Downtown Frederick. What a treat!
So don’t let the weather get you down. Come in and see us tomorrow. I am sure Karida will bring some other yarns to showcase as well. What’s not to be excited about?
