This week’s patterns are by Purl Bee. They are the best when it comes to patterns. I went thru and found both a knit and crochet project from the archives.
First up is the Color Tipped Scarf. This scarf is a classic with a kick depending on your color selections. The simple garter stitch works up fast and the result is quite pleasing. A perfect project for watching the Olympics. I want to get to the shop and look at the Duck Duck Wool 50/50 colors and the Sweet Georgia Trinity Worsted colors. Both of these yarns have a sheen and would just look beautiful. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/color-tipped-scarf
Second is a beautiful Crocheted Rib Cowl pattern. Another fast and satisfying project. Again, the yarn selection is key. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crocheted-rib-cowl
Enjoy!
