Writing from CA. As some of you know I am here for Stitches West. I have never been to a Stitches, so I am quite excited. I hear the West Stitches is by far the best. I will try and take some pictures from the show, but I am not good at remembering to take them. I hope to find some new yarns and fun gadgets. Ok, if I find some irresistibles, I will take pictures and post.
I thought I should go ahead and post a good Free Pattern before I get caught up in it all. I didn’t search forever tonight. I had saved this one for one of those times that I needed a sure thing. I have wanted to post it for a long time.
So many shawls are done in fingering weight making them a slower knit. Maybe this one is appealing because it is worked a heavier weight (dk), making it more substantial and quicker. I think it would be nice in Fiber Company’s Organix or even Road to China Light. I bought Tosh yarn to do it up a long time ago, but it never made it to the top of my list. I will knit it one day.
