We are off to a good start in 2015 revamping our Shop Samples. Out with the old and in with the new. Of course we will still have the favorites.
So far this is what we have done for the Shop.
You may have seen this one on FB. It is Purl SoHo’s Free Pattern No Purl Rib Scarf. It is a mindless knit and of course the width can be modified. Mom used Duck Duck Wool 50/50 DK in Boys n Berries.
This is another beauty worked in Duck Duck 50/50 DK. It is the Textured Shawl by Orlane. Another freebie. We decided this would be a great “Beginner Shawl” and have made it a class in March.
If you frequent the shop, you probably saw her working on this Effortless Cardigan by Hannah Fettig. (I wasn’t planning on a modeling day when we took this photo.) Mom is really proud of this one using WSK Magnolia Worsted. I will most likely dress it up and wear it to Vogue Knitting Live in NY this Saturday…I need to keep my knit worthiness.
This Great Wall by Lynn Di Christina started as a Shop Joke. I tend to get carried away picking green yarns. Mom and Dami say I am the only person that would want something out of this Clintonville Neighborhood Fiber Co. It is a shocking green, but fabulous none the less. I think I finished this in a week. 🙂
And we are working on more pieces like Mavis (Mom), the Classic Cowl (Me) , Slade (Mom-she says she can’t do it), and Nangou (Me). I am hoping that Slade slows Mom down so that I can keep up. Oh, and if you haven’t heard, Mom is going to be test knitting a new sweater for Alicia Plummer, in the new Lakes Yarn that we will be carrying in February.
Happy Knitting!
