Those knitted wears are getting worn now aren’t they? I don’t need to tell you it is cold. If you have a knitted sweater or two, I am sure you have been wearing them. Once you have made a sweater (or someone has made one for you) that fits, I find you want to wear them all the time. They are so warm. I keep telling Mom I need a Boxy in every color.
So I was looking for more sweaters this week and found the Smithfield Pullover by Amy Christoffers (free). I like the texture and length of this one. It is done in an Aran weight so you could use Malabrigo Twist, or Chunky. I also think you could substitute a heavy worsted.
Did anyone see Joji Locatelli’s new Madewell sweater just released? She did it in a discontinued MCN Fingering, but we happen to have many substitutes. 🙂 I love this color blue…and the elbow patches are optional. Oh and this isn’t a freebie…
For those of you that are convinced Spring is right around the corner, you might like these next two options. The Simple Eyelet Cowl by Gretchen Tracy (free) and the Gemi pattern by Sara Schmidt. It looks like Spring doesn’t it?
Come on March!
