Let’s see…what has been going on at the shop. You may know that Mom has been a knitting feen lately. After she finished Alicia Plummer’s test knit…she has been flying through her projects. She finished Lisa Mutch ‘s Asunder shawl and is about half way through Melanie Berg’s Drachenfels shawl. Matter of fact, there has been so much interest in the Asunder shawl and it’s dropped stitches, that we offering it as a class on Tuesday nights in May.
Me, I’m turning into the slowest knitter on the planet. I am still working on the Kate Osborn’s Mysa Summer top. I wanted to get it finished before our Pop-Up Extravaganza on May 1st – 3rd, I’m not sure I will make it. But maybe..
Speaking of the Pop-Up, we might get some yarns in this week. We know a couple of designers have shipped their boxes. It’s gonna be so fun. Things are going to start ramping up…and tensing up. 🙂
As far as a free pattern post, nothing really hit me over the head this week. However, I did find a Joji free cowl pattern, To infinity and beyond. I think I like the less variegated look. It only takes one skein of fingering/sock yarn. Something tells me there is going to be a lot to choose from. Well there is already, but you know what I mean.
Ok, I must get busy. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Cheers to 80 Degrees!
