It’s time. Anyone getting a head start on shopping or starting those coveted handmade gifts? When I realized last weekend that I wasn’t almost done with my Crofton Cowl, (I have to do the whole 42 row chart pattern AGAIN), I had to put it down. There was still plenty of evening left, so I got out my fabric for the quilt I promised Tricia (oldest stepdaughter). It was supposed to be her wedding gift. Her 2nd anniversary is coming up. 🙂 I cut a good amount and made enough progress to realize I need one more fabric. Now I am at a standstill on that. But hey, I’m making progress. There’s one XMAS gift in the works.
With it only getting into the mid 50s these days, it’s Cowl season. So if you aren’t ready to start on gifts, make something to keep you warm.
I found this Umbra Cowl by Scott Scholz. He used YOTH Big Sister (DK), which we have, but you could also use Magpie (Dami restocked the neutrals today) or Shalimar DK as well.
Scott Scholz, also just released the Field Broken Rib Cowl, using a worsted weight.
These are great TV knitting projects!
Stay dry! So glad The Knot House is above ground.
