French Market Fiber is in The House! Margaret sent us 3 bases for the Trunk Show. MCN Worsted, 50/50 Merino Silky DK, and her new Single Ply, Quarter Merino Fingering. Since we got it a couple of days early, Mom has it ready and on display. I haven’t seen it all yet, but Mom says there are some pretty skeins for sure. I hope she put some Blue Dog back for me.
Here are a couple of new shawls that would work with the Quarter Merino Fingering. Who was it that asked me about two color shawls the other day? Funny, both of these use just two colors.
The Love of Spiders by Melanie Berg. I’m sure some of you have seen it.
Berry Patch by Lisa Hannes. This one is 20% off thru Sunday. Wonder if there is a bright enough pink to go with that Blue Dog colorway??
For the DK or Worsted, I found these Simple Cable Knit Boot Cuffs by Julie Tarsha
Then the Cashmere Perle by The Pluky Knitter. Again, you could use the Silky DK or the Worsted for this.
So that’s what I have for patterns this week. I have more to share but I need to save some. 🙂
We are restocking Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Worsted this weekend too.
Have you guys checked out the online magazine Twist Collective? The Winter Edition is out, you might want to check out some of the sweaters in it.
One other thing…Mom is not going to be open for Stitch Circle going forward. We haven’t had much interest. We may reconsider at a later date, but for now..no early Friday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
I am looking forward to the cold front coming through this weekend. Justin says we might get some flurries from Winter Storm Bella!
Hope to see you this weekend!
Ohh is anyone interested in Steven West’s Mystery KAL – The Doodler?? It is all the rage on IG. Check the project page on Ravelry if you aren’t on IG. I think Mom is considering it..
