We hope to see you at the Autumn and Indigo Trunk show this weekend. We are so thrilled that Claire is coming to share her yarns with us. We can’t wait to meet her!
Last night Luc and I were driving home from basketball practice, and I noticed a lot of the downtown tree lights are up. So it seems the switch has been flipped. It always seems like once Halloween is over, the holidays are upon us in a snap. I guess I should work on the shop window. LOL.
Are you gift knitting yet? Mom and I are working on a couple of quick knits to inspire you. I am working on Espace Tricot’s Getting Warmer cowl, and Mom just finished their On the C Train hat. These are both FREE patterns and are very quick knits. I am more that half way done with with cowl, so it must be quick. We are going to talk about our versions on the next podcast, which I hope to record this week. I’m using 2 skeins of Shalimar Cush (Bulky) and Mom used 1 skein of Shalimar Enzo Aran with 1 skein of Mohair for the hat. So if you want to whip out something quick, so you can feel you are accomplishing something (like me) here are a couple of ideas.
So let’s talk new yarns for a min. We are all stocked up on Tosh Light, so much so, we are going to have to add some more cubbies. We are also stocked up on Malabrigo Rios, Rasta, and Caracol. And have you seen the Julie Asselin wall? It is full of Fino and new to the shop Leizu DK. Matter of fact, I think Mom chose the Leizu for her next Caitlin Hunter piece.
We will talk about Mom’s sweater she just finished along with the next one she is planning. We have a lot to share on this next podcast, such as new yarns, Rhinebeck recap, and upcoming events. Most importantly, we are going to do a giveaway on the next podcast! However, there is a trick, you must be a subscriber to win. So if you haven’t subscribed please click here so you don’t miss out!
See you all soon!
