What is the IQ test?
We’re going to show you an incomplete numerical scheme. You’ll have a grid with five squares, one large one in the middle and four smaller ones next to it.
The smaller squares are divided into two triangles, each containing a number, while the larger square is divided into four triangles, each containing four numbers. However, the large square is missing a number that’s supposed to be in the top triangle.
As you can imagine, your aim is to find the missing number. This may seem difficult, but there’s a time limit: you’ve only got 30 seconds to finish and prove that you’re a real genius. With concentration and good logic, you can do it.
Why take a numerical challenge IQ test?
An intelligence quotient (IQ) test is designed to assess different cognitive abilities, such as logic, verbal reasoning, memory and information processing.
Although IQ tests are often perceived as serious assessments, there can be some fun or interesting aspects associated with them.
You may find pleasure in the mental challenges they offer, the discoveries about your intellectual strengths, the comparison with others or the stimulation of your brain.

For those of you who didn’t manage to get to the end of this IQ test, don’t worry, we’ll help you.
To begin with, you had to divide the diagram into two parts to form two large triangles. Inside each triangle, you also had to form two triangles with the aim of gathering three numbers per part.
If you add up the numbers in the triangle where the components are complete, you’ll notice that this gives the number 17, for both additions. Then do the same in the second large triangle and find out which digit is missing to give 17.
