- Third line: 15 – 3 x 3 = bear. This equation presents a pitfall. Indeed, you must first solve the multiplication. This gives: 15 – (3 x 3) = 15 – 9 = 6. The value of the bear is therefore 6.
- Fourth line: fox + cat + bear= ? Having already found the value of each animal, all you have to do is replace the animals with their respective values.
