The solution to the mathematical riddle

– First equation: muffin + muffin +muffin = 18.
To find the value of a muffin, you need to do the following: 18 / 3 = 6. The value of a muffin is 6.
– Second equation: muffin + cake + cake = 14.
Replacing the muffin with its value: 6 + cake+ cake = 14. So 14 – 6 = 8, but since there are two cakes, you have to divide the 8 by 2. The value of a cake is 4.
– Third equation: cake + cup cake + (2 cup cakes) = 10.
Replacing the cake with its value: 4 + cupcake + (2 cups cake) = 10. Thus, 10 – 4 = 6. Therefore, 6 + 2 + (2 + 2) = 10. The value of a petal cake is therefore 2.
– Fourth equation: cake x muffin – cup cake = ?
Replacing each cake with its respective value (4 x 6) – 2 = 24 – 2 = 22. The value to be found is 22.
